Where did December go?

Where did December go? The last post I did was Thanksgiving and now here we are about to celebrate Christmas! We have had a busy month so far but have done some pretty fun things. One of our adventures took us to Durham to take Caleigh on the Santa Train. She loved it and her eyes were so big the entire time we were there just taking everything in. She got to talk with Santa and tell him her name and what she wanted for Christmas. The highlight of the whole experience though, for Caleigh, was the hot chocolate with marshmallows that we got after the train ride! What a neat idea for kids...it was very "magical" to arrive at the North Pole and see Santa's lighted sleigh and reindeer!

We are excited for Christmas and time to spend with our families. We want to sit back and soak in the season and think about the real meaning of Christmas as we prepare for another exciting year ahead! Happy Holidays!
