Caleigh Turns 3!!!

Caleigh,

You turned 3 years old last Monday and I can’t even believe it!  It feels like you went from being a baby straight to a little girl right before our eyes.  We love you more everyday and feel so blessed to have such a sweet, smart and funny little girl to make our days brighter.   Caleigh, you absolutely LOVED your party at PlayNation this year and you were so glad that all of your best friends were able to come (we missed a few though)!  You definitely insisted on a Minnie Mouse party so that’s just what we did.  We had family over on Sunday and celebrated by opening your presents and having more cupcakes.  Then, on Monday, your actual birthday, Mommy brought cupcakes to your class since Daddy was out of town.  You were having a rough day since you were still transitioning into your new class at school, but you got a new Minnie Mouse doll that sings the Hotdog Dance that really made your day.  We took you to Boston Market (hey you like a good home-cooked meal just like your momma) and then to Goodberry’s to continue celebrating your big day!

Caleigh, we just could not imagine life without you.  We learn something new everyday and can’t believe how much you know at 3.  You don’t let us forget anything though…so we never need to worry about your memory!   From your sweet southern accent to your independent attitude, we wouldn’t trade you for anything.  So, Caleigh Happy 3rd Birthday sweet girl!  We love you bunches and bunches!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend with my family at Wrightsville Beach.  It was a fun weekend and we enjoyed lots of time outside.  One of the teachers at my mom’s preschool gave Caleigh this sprinkler and she has LOVED it!  She had to try it out with Uncle Travis right away.  Caleigh also ended her weekend with a special pedicure at Sweet and Sassy, a salon just for little girls.  She wanted pink toes with blue diamonds…oh my!   We had a great time and enjoyed some relaxation!
