Play Time

Caleigh is really starting to entertain herself more now and she loves play time. She has just recently been able to stay in her bumbo seat longer since her head control is so good. We put the bumbo play tray on yesterday so she could hold her toys easier. She had such fun playing with her toys and trying to put them in her mouth. She was content for a good 30 minutes! I think we have found a new way to entertain our little girl! I can't believe she is growing so fast and will be 3 months old this week! Where has the time gone? She started daycare this week and has really adjusted well. I think it has been harder on Brian and I but we know she is very happy there and is in good hands! I have missed not being with her but it wasn't as rough as I thought it would be! I'll post some 3 month pictures soon!

Katie's Visit

Cousin Katie came to visit with us from Michigan the past few days and Caleigh really enjoyed meeting her and playing with her. Caleigh was in a good mood yesterday so I decided to video her when Katie was playing with her. You can see her playing below. Thanks for visiting with us Katie! We miss you already!

Myrtle Beach Vacation

We spent last week in Myrtle Beach, SC with Brian's family. We stayed at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes and it was a beautiful place! We had views of the waterway and golf course. Caleigh really got to enjoy the beach more this time since she was a little older. She liked to nap by the pool and we took her on the beach one day and she seemed happy! She really liked listening to the ocean and we made sure not to get sand on her this time (she threw a fit last time she got sand on her). She was excited to wear her bathing suit for the first time too. We went shopping, ate at good restaurants, and enjoyed sitting by the pool! We had such a good time and it was sad having to come home on Friday!

My Birthday

We celebrated my 27th birthday last Friday, August 7th! Brian took the day off and we had fun together as a family. Brian cooked breakfast for me and let me sleep in, we ate lunch out and then went shopping! Later that night we had dinner at my parent's house! It was a great day and I enjoyed having Caleigh here for my big day this year. Caleigh didn't really want to cooperate for pictures that day, but she's just a baby, so that's okay!

Caleigh 2 Months

We are a little behind in posting Caleigh's 2 month pictures but we wanted to share some of her recent fun times. She is growing so much and she is really starting to develop a little personality! She is such a fun baby and a happy girl for the majority of the time. She smiles a lot and is really starting to grab for things now. We just got back from the beach with Brian's family and I'll post those pictures soon to show how much she grew since these pictures were taken!

Caleigh's First Playdate

Caleigh had her first playdate with Wyatt Hess yesterday. Wyatt is my good friend Julie's baby boy. He is 7 weeks older than Caleigh. Julie and I really enjoyed being pregnant together so we could share stories and advice! We still like to get together and chat about our babies and life. We wanted to get some cute shots with the little ones but Caleigh decided to nap during the whole playdate! Wyatt was so good and he kept looking at Caleigh. He will take good care of her when she goes to daycare. I did manage to get some good pictures of Julie with the babies. We'll hope to get pictures of the two little friends next time!
