Beach Trip 2010
We spent last week in Nags Head with Brian's family. It was nice to have vacation and spend time with family. We were glad the Pisarski family from Michigan could join us as well! My parents came down on Thursday to enjoy a couple of days with us. Caleigh really loved the beach and certainly kept us on our toes as she explored new things. She loves the pool and was like a little fish. She was not afraid of anything. Brian's mom arranged for us to have professional beach pictures taken and that was a lot of fun. They turned out so nice! We already miss everyone and hope to go again soon!

11 Months Old
I am very behind in updating the blog, but I'll be doing better because we have a lot of fun events coming up! Caleigh is 11 months old and it is hard to believe that her 1st birthday will be here in a couple of weeks! She is getting more mobile everyday and will probably be walking at any moment. She pulls up on everything and makes lots of babbles. She is starting to eat table food now and she has figured out that she LOVES chicken nuggets! She eats those almost every night at dinner. She also loves carrots, crackers, cheerios, and bread. We are having a hard time with other veggies and fruit. She got this new chair as an early birthday present and she is so cute when she sits in it and reads. We are enjoying this stage with her and just love her more and more each day. She lights up a room with her personality!

Time flies...
Gosh, time flies when you're having fun and when you have a 10 1/2 month old! It's been a while since we've updated the blog but that is probably because we are chasing Caleigh around all the time because she gets into things we never thought she could! We spend our days saying "no no" and finding creative ways to block dangerous things. Most days we are exhausted after chasing her around, but we are loving this age and watching her explore new things. It's funny how she is starting to repeat things we say too. Just today she starting crawling towards a lamp and said "na na na" which is how she says "no no" and she smiled and kept going anyway. Too funny! Brian has been working a lot lately so Caleigh and I have had some quality girl time. We went shopping together yesterday and had lunch and played today! She really cracks me up. I just love her little personality! Now that she is feeling better she has been in a good mood so I took advantage and got some pictures today. Enjoy!

10 Months Old
Our little girl also turned 10 months old on Easter Sunday! It is so hard to believe we are only two months away from her one year birthday. We are so blessed to have her in our life and we have enjoyed watching her grow and change. So, what is Caleigh up to these days?

- She crawls everywhere now and pulls up on things
- She weighs 20lbs and wears 9-12 month clothes
- She eats 3 meals a day and has 4 bottles. She really likes pears, peaches, apples, and squash right now.
- She LOVES her puffs. She eats every flavor and would probably replace meals with these if we would let her!
- She says "Ma-ma" "Da-da" "Uh-oh" "Da" or "Dat" for dogs and many other little babbles
- She loves to throw things and when we tell her "no no" she turns to us and just laughs. She is definitely exploring and we are constantly on our feet!
Easter 2010
We had a wonderful Easter holiday! The Easter Bunny made a little visit to our house so we started off our morning with Caleigh going through her Easter basket. We went to lunch with both of our families and enjoyed the time together. The weather was absolutely beautiful. After lunch we headed to Caroline's baptism and it was so special to be there and share in this day with our good friends, Julia and Bryan. We enjoyed spending time with family and we are so blessed to have Caleigh with us this year!

9 Month and Easter Pictures
We took Caleigh to have her 9 month pictures taken last weekend. Since it is close to Easter, we went ahead and put her Easter outfit on her for some pictures too. She was in such a good mood, but it was so hard to keep her still. She wanted to crawl everywhere and climb out of the little chairs. We can't believe how much she is growing and changing everyday! She'll be 10 months old this Sunday! So hard to believe!
