Duke/NCSU Game
We went to the Duke vs. NCSU football game on Saturday at Duke. Man was this an exciting game since it isn't often that NC State wins a game! I try to be loyal to my employer (Duke) but I am a Wolfpack girl at heart! We figured we would be sitting in a sea of Duke blue, so we toned our apparel down and didn't wear too much red. Much to our surprise, 80% of the stadium was wearing RED!! We had such a good time and really enjoy football season!

Our big news!!
Sorry we have been so slack in updating the blog lately. We have had a lot going on with wedding activities, traveling to Tennessee to see family, and finding out that we are expecting our first baby!! We were thrilled to find out that we will be having our first child due on May 28th! We couldn't be happier. I am almost 10 weeks along now and have been feeling good for the most part. Our next doctor's appointment is on November 10th. I am anxious to enter the second trimester in a couple of weeks so that I will have more energy and won't be as queasy. All in all we feel very blessed to be at this place in our lives and we can't wait for the next chapter to begin! We'll keep everyone updated on the pregnancy through the blog and we'll do a better job of updating it regularly :-)
Kelly's Big Day
The wedding day on Saturday was beautiful! It was a little chilly but the weather turned out great and it was such a fun day. The bridesmaids were really pampered on Saturday since we went to get our hair done and also got to ride in a limo all day! The limo driver even pulled out the red carpet. We felt like royalty! We walked into the reception to the NC State fight song. It was so funny to see everyone doing their wolfpack fingers. There were even two surprise guests that showed up, Mr. and Mrs. Wolf! Kelly was so excited! Here are some pictures from the day. We are so happy for Kelly and Jonathan!
Kelly's Wedding
We celebrated Jonathan and Kelly's wedding festivities two weekends ago. The weekend was a blast and we are so happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Perry! We started off the weekend on Friday with a Bridal Luncheon at Cafe Luna in Raleigh. It was a lot of fun and a good time for us girls to get together and hang out. Later that evening, we went to the rehearsal dinner at The Peddler Steakhouse. The food was very good and the cake was a hit!

What we've been up to...
Wow, it has been a long time since our last post. Since some of you have asked what we've been up to (since we are usually faithful bloggers), I thought I would take some time to share. We have been very busy around the house. We took up all of our flooring downstairs and replaced it with hardwood floors. This may be easier said than done. haha Brian and Matt worked extremely long hours pulling all of the floor up and making sure everything was ready for the hardwoods. We lived on plywood floors for about 3 weeks, which actually wasn't all that bad. Everything in our house was sandy and dusty! Luckily, we knew a contractor who actually installed the floors for us. He and Brian worked very long hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2 weeks ago and got everything finished. They look so good and Brian learned a lot along the way as well. The weekend before that, our good friends Lauren and Daniel Edwards were in town and Daniel helped Brian put ceramic tile flooring in the laundry room. It turned out great! Surprisingly, I haven't taken any pictures yet. I need to do that and post them on the blog. The day we were supposed to start installing the hardwoods, our AC went out. Perfect timing! We are going to have to replace the unit tomorrow. This wasn't a cheap investment, but we have needed a new AC unit for a while. Other than home projects, we have been in town. We went to the Duke/JMU game 2 weekends ago, but the rain had other plans and we didn't stay very long. Duke won though, which was hard for the James Madison fans! We have some things coming up soon and will start posting pictures again!
