Caleigh in the Bumbo

Caleigh tried out her bumbo seat for the first time last night. She lasted for a few minutes but her head control isn't quite strong enough to keep her in there longer. I thought she looked too cute in her seat not to take a picture!

Wrightsville Beach

Last week we went to Wrightsville Beach with my Mom's side of the family. Caleigh and I went down on Thursday and we got to have several days with just the girls. Brian came down on Saturday and helped out with Caleigh so I could go to the pool and try to get some sort of tan! My little cousin Kinsley is 3 and she loves Baby Caleigh! She is such a good helper! We wanted to get some beach pictures of the girls for my Grandmother. Needless to say we didn't pick the best timing since both girls were a bit fussy. Caleigh didn't like getting sand in her diaper, but she did like having her feet in the sand. All in all we got some pretty good pictures and we had such a good time with family!

Dad's Retirement Party

My dad officially retired from Embarq last week and his company threw him a surprise luncheon. He had no idea that the family was invited and was super surprised when he saw me come in with the stroller! He was so glad his grandaughter could be part of the big day and it was the first time she got to meet the Embarq family. Caleigh slept through the whole thing, even while being passed around by everyone! My dad will take a couple of months off before searching for his next career! We are so proud of him!

Aunt Carol Comes to Visit

This past weekend Caleigh got to meet her Great Aunt Carol. We had such a good time visiting with her! We can't wait to see her again! Thanks again for the fun books too!

On Sunday night we had a cookout with Brian's family. Grandpap is still here so we got some pictures of the four generations! It was a fun time and we enjoy spending time with family! Caleigh slept through the entire dinner and we snapped the photos while she was still peaceful afterwards!
