Layla Turns Three!

Last Saturday we went to Layla's 3rd birthday party at Bounce U in Apex. Caleigh was still a little young to fully enjoy the place, but she showed no fear and wanted to be part of all the action. She preferred to sit and bounce so needless to say she was run over by other kids a few times! Caleigh's friend Caroline came as well and the girls enjoyed playing together. Thanks for inviting us Layla! We had a great time!

Around the house

We have had a lot of snow and cold days around here lately so we have been hanging out inside a lot. Here is what Caleigh has been up to around the house...

Christmas Day and Bristol Fun

We woke up early on Christmas morning and Caleigh was so excited to see what Santa brought her. She got a kitchen, golf club set, tricycle and baby stroller. After we played for a little bit, we got ready, packed and headed over to Brian's parents to celebrate before heading to Bristol.

After having lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's we headed out to Bristol. We drove in snow the whole way and ended up getting there safely around dinner time. We celebrated at Mimaw and Grandaddy's with my Dad's family that night. Caleigh especially loved playing with her cousins Chloe and Ella.

The day after Christmas we celebrated with my Mom's family at my Mamaw's house. We ate breakfast, opened gifts and just played most of the day. We did attempt to get Kinsley, Caleigh and Braxton's picture for Mamaw, but that proved to be a challenge. My aunt bought matching shirts for the three of them to wear. They all looked so cute!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we started off the day by baking and cooking. Caleigh helped me make chocolate peanut butter balls to take out of town and we also made some food to take to Brian's family's house that night for dinner. We went to Christmas Eve service at St. Francis and Caleigh enjoyed meeting a new little friend Parker there. We celebrated with both of our families that night at Brian's parents and enjoyed the company and good food! We came home late and Santa had to get busy in his workshop getting things ready for Christmas morning! Santa also brought me a new Canon Rebel camera so I am having a lot of fun with pictures. I just need to learn how to work it better.
