Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!  We started our day off with the Westlake neighborhood parade.  Grandma really worked hard to decorate Caleigh’s tricycle for the parade and it was a fan favorite.  Caleigh tells everyone she won “first prize.”  It was neat to see all of the kids decked out in red, white and blue and riding everything from bikes to scooters to jogging strollers.  It was a long, hot walk but we made it to the finish line where we were greeted with ice cold popsicles and juice boxes.   I love the 4th of July and am thankful to live in such an amazing country!  Later that day we had family over for a cookout.  We couldn’t have asked for a better day!  God Bless America!
