7 Months Old
Caleigh, you are now 7 months old! Mommy and Daddy can't figure out where the time has gone! You weigh 17 lbs 5 oz and you are now in a Size 3 diaper. You wear mostly 9 months clothes. You are eating more and more baby food, but your favorites are still sweet potatoes and bananas. You tried oatmeal yesterday and loved it. We gave you some puffs yesterday but you choked so I don't think we are quite ready for those! You sleep about 12 hours at night. You go to bed around 6:30 and wake up around 6:15-6:30. Mommy and Daddy are enbarassed to say that you just went into your own crib about a week ago, but you LOVE your room and crib and sleep so much better. We try to get you stay up later so we can play with you, but you know your bed time! You are talking a lot now. You say "da da" very well along with "bye" and "hi" and other fun sounds. Still no "Mama", but we are working on that. You are sitting up very well, but you still don't roll over much and you aren't trying to crawl yet. You have 2 teeth and you constantly have something in your mouth. You love to wave your arms and wave "hello" to everyone you see. You are such a blessing to us and we love you more and more each day. We love that you have a personality now and we can't wait to see what you'll be like years from now! We love everything about you and you definitely have brought so much joy to our lives!

Let's Go VOLS!
Caleigh got a University of Tennessee cheerleading outfit for Christmas. I bet you can't guess who got this for her??? You're right...my Dad HAD to get this for her! She wore this for the Tennessee/VT game on New Year's Eve. She looked pretty cute and seems to already have the moves down. I think we have a future cheerleader on our hands!

Caleigh's First Christmas!
Caleigh had a great first Christmas! We are so blessed to have her in our lives this holiday season. She has been such a joy and it was special getting to watch her eyes light up on Christmas. We went to Christmas Eve service with Brian's family and then I went to the service with my parents later that evening to hear my Dad sing. Caleigh was so good during the service and she eventually just fell asleep on my chest. We didn't think she could make it through another service so she stayed with Brian and his family while I went with my family to church. Our families both got together on Christmas Eve for dinner and fellowship. We had such a relaxing evening with lots of laughs! We spent Christmas morning with Brian's family and ate breakfast and opened gifts. We then drove to Bristol for the next few days. Caleigh got sick while we were in Bristol and we had to take her to Urgent Care and then to her doctor once we got home. She was a trooper though and still had a good time. We hope everyone has a Happy New Year and we'll be sure to post more pictures (I am sorry I didn't take any with Brian's family. We need to take some while Grandpap is here). Caleigh is wearing her Tennessee Vols Cheerleading outfit tomorrow for the big game! Go VOLS!
Early Christmas with my family
We celebrated Christmas on December 23rd with my family and went over to my parent's house. We had a really nice dinner and enjoyed watching Caleigh open her gifts. We were able to get some pictures but Caleigh's bedtime was quickly approaching and we weren't able to get a lot of smiles! She had a good time and loved playing with the wrapping paper and bows! She also loved playing with Casey and Cameron...her two favorite dogs.

Ornament Party 2009
We went over to Kelly and Jonathan's house last night for the Annual Christmas Ornament Party. We had a great time and I was so excited to see little Caroline again. We decided to leave Caleigh with her Grammy because she is on a really good sleep schedule right now and we knew we would be really late getting home. She didn't sleep so well over there, but I think she had too much attention and was afraid she might miss something. It was nice to have a night out just the two of us and laugh and socialize with friends! Of course, I loved holding a little baby again. I can't even remember Caleigh being that small anymore. Everyone had a great time and thanks to The Perry's for hosting again!
The Happy Family (Julia, Bryan and Caroline)
Brian couldn't get over how small Caroline was!
All of the girls!
A Baby's Life
Best Friends
Caleigh just loves Casey. When she goes over to my parents' house she is always looking for Casey and he is usually trying to hide from her because she is so rough with him. It is amazing how fascinated she is with dogs since her Mommy was scared to death of dogs as a child!!! Brian and I have already decided we will have to get a dog for Caleigh one day. She needs a little companion of her own!! She really likes Cameron too but she wasn't around for the pictures!
